Operations Coordinator Immediately Required in Kenya

A multinational company is looking for a logistics professional with experience in the international logistics of removals/relocations industry in Kenya. Must have practical knowledge of packing household goods for export, customs clearance (especially tax-exemption), accurate weight estimation, and international freight. Excellent English communication skills, deadline oriented, Microsoft Excel proficienct and excellent customer service and etiquette in dealings with agents and/or clients. A full clear driving license would be a plus.
Responsibilities consist of client household goods surveys, and general cargo shipments, preparing measurement reports and costing, performing pack outs and cargo pickups, and then palletizing, crating, or preparing shipments for export. Will also oversee customs clearance, tendering of shipments to the airlines and carrying out assorted runabout duties in Nairobi, including in-person follow-ups at government ministries, client offices, and vendor offices. Duties also include stock maintenance, inventory management, and coordinating stock repair.
