Field Interviewer


Location: Nairobi, Meru, Kisumu, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret

Our client, an International research company is seeking to recruit a Field Interviewer who will ensure all projects assigned to you are carried out accurately, within standard procedures, survey methodology, project timing/ specified instructions and in a professional manner. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         To ensure all training material received (including the Interviewer Handbook and Code of Conduct) is read and understood and any queries are discussed with the Supervisor.
·         To understand the use of all support forms i.e. call/ contact sheets, project forms, timesheets, etc.
·         To interview respondents in a professional manner and record respondent information accurately
·         To ensure you understand the requirements of each project assigned, in terms of the project questionnaire, survey method and support forms.
·         Ensure all responses and outcomes recorded, are true and accurate
·         Ensure you understand all confidentiality and security requirements.
·         Ensure at the end of an interview the closure is read as per the script and that respondents are left with a positive view of the company
·         To ensure interviewing starts and finishes on the specified dates, to meet the dispatch schedules and is carried out within the standard hours of interviewing
·         To respond to queries in a timely manner.
·         To ensure any concerns regarding training and/or project requirements are communicated to the Supervisor.
·         To maintain a professional and courteous manner with respondents.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Good communication, people skills and a pleasant manner.
·         An understanding of the interviewing process.
·         Degree/ Diploma in Market Research or any related field.
·         Must have a minimum of 1 year working experience  in the field
·         The ability to follow detailed instructions.
·         Good command of the local language.
·         Good command of the English language (verbal & written)
·         Computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills
