ICT Administrator


REF: ICT/SIRSA/02.15
The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and has the following duties:
  1. Support the Sacco Back Office and Front Office management systems and / or any integrated ERP system. Experience with FineEXtreme system shall be an added advantage.
  2. Advise management and BOD on all issues regarding use of Information Technology
  3. Monitoring the progress of the design, installation and commissioning of the various networks and systems
  4. Responsible for ICT Network administration, Software development, systems support and customer support
  5. Enforce adherence to ICT Policy to all members of staff
  6. Responsible for security of Sacco data and communication systems
  7. Schedule routine backup of Sacco data and ensure secure storage
  8. Leads ICT support team to ensure information systems are available, secure and fulfill the expectations of their users.
  9. Any other duties as assigned by the management

Skills, Competencies and Experience: 

  1. Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
  2. Degree in Information Technology will be an added advantage
  3. At least three (3) years relevant working experience
  4. A self motivated person with ability to work both independently and as a team player with minimal supervision to achieve organizational goals
