Field Supervisor/ Field Coordinator

Our client, an International research company is seeking to recruit a Field Supervisor who will
recruit, train, co-ordinate, supervise and motivate an interviewing team to ensure that all projects scheduled are carried out within standard procedures, survey methodology and specified instructions.
 
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
  •  To recruit, train, supervise, motivate, and where necessary re-train, sufficient personnel to meet the company’s survey needs and to allow for interviewer unavailability.
  • To train Interviewers to company standards as per training agenda and manuals.
  • All staff reporting to this position understands the company Code of Conduct, Field Standards and Policies, including confidentiality and security requirements.
  • To liaise with the Field Manager regarding project queries, feedback, enhancements to ensure all projects are processed with the agreed specifications and timeframe.
  • To ensure all personnel assigned to a project are fully briefed in terms of the project questionnaire, survey method, and timelines.
  • Any discrepancies in validations, respondent selection, observations are actioned.  This may require re-training, which must be documented and future work monitored.

  • To ensure Field interviewing starts and finishes on time, is scheduled to meet the despatch schedules and is carried out within the standard hours of interviewing
  • To forward daily or as agreed an update of the interviews/ quotas completed.
  • Ensure Interviewers receive feedback on the standard of their work and to monitor subsequent work to ensure feedback issues are resolved.
  • To ensure staff welfare, interviewers should have the opportunity to take their required breaks.
  • Ensure timesheets, claims, expenses are checked, authorised and forwarded for processing.
 
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • A sound knowledge of the interviewing process.
  • Experience in staff supervision.
  • Degree/ Diploma in Market Research or any related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience  in the field
  • Well organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills
  • Good command of the English and local language (verbal and written)
