Job Opportunities for Ladies and Gentlemen in Tourism


Our client a is well known tour and travel company with a head office at Nairobi and involved in local and international in East Africa region is currently looking for six tour consultants cum marketers with the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Online marketing through blind targeting and prospecting,
2.Doing business presentations and opening new market niches,
3. Identify, analyze and cultivate new business avenues, driving new sales opportunities or relationship building with key customer accounts by developing strategic and actionable plans.
3. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure quality of service delivery and ongoing account growth opportunities.
4.Performing duties related to the full cycle sales strategy, from qualifying to closing sales in Nairobi and upcountry.
5. Prospecting, Selling and Servicing tour business among retail, corporate and institutional entities.
6. Efficiently gathering customer and market information to enable negotiation regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications.
 
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
a) relevant academic documents, C (Plain) and above and holders of diploma or degree in Commerce - tourism and other related fields like marketing,
b) high integrity, a record of high performance from the relevant industries and practices,
c) aggressiveness, mature age of minimum 25 years and above
d) rational decision making capacities and can work with minimal supervision,
e) the relevant work experience of a minimum industrial attachment period,
Starting Salary is Kshs 20,000.00 coupled with attractive commissions depending on experience and skills.
