We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Online Sales Officer. The post holder will
report to Head of Marketing & E-commerce and will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Role Purpose
Assist in procurement of on-line sales and customer experience in full compliance with the laid
down procedures and guidelines as set out in the operations manuals.

Responsibilities
1. Deliver on-line sales targets through on-line marketing functions: Search Engine Marketing
& Optimization (SEM / SEO), LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Any other
2. Generate new business opportunities
3. Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities
4. Manage the full sales cycle by working relevant teams
5. Meet on-line sales targets
6. Work closely with the website developers to ensure on-line platforms meet customer
needs/ requirements and adopt world best practice.
7. Emails Marketing Support - create all ad track links as needed for email analysis and sell
through tracking.
8. Use internet to build customer loyalty through online engagement programs
9. Monitoring and evaluation:
a) Submit weekly and monthly performance reports
b) Social networks – monitoring of activity, question answering, content creation, trend
analyzing, issue resolving
c) Web traffic and source analytics monitoring and reporting against key performance
indicators
d) Maintain a log of all marketing activity results (search, newsletters and online ad
campaigns, partner programs) including top line performance stats on each.
e) Contribute a passion and ongoing knowledge of internet and digital marketing as a key
member of the marketing team
f) Innovation – Ensure the company remains on the cutting edge of trends & techniques in
the Internet marketing industry

Qualification and Experience
Academic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, economic, Commerce, Marketing,
Insurance or equivalent from a recognized university.
2. Professional certification in information technology, insurance, marketing or any other
relevant field will be an added advantage.
3. Online and internet tools proficient.

Experience
At least two years of experience with proven track record of success in On-line Sales in the
Kenyan Market.
