Local Productions (K) Ltd is a leader in the Sports Broadcast Media sector. Due to expansion and growth, the following position has come up in our organization.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Position objective:

Reporting to General Manager, the candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and effectively managing human capital and administration policies, strategies, systems and processes and ensuring alignment to the business strategy in order to ensure increased productivity and enhanced organizational effectiveness.

Key Outputs include:
·         Act as a business partner by embedding company HR strategy and by providing professional generalist HR guidance and support to client groups with the objective to add value to the business
·         People Management which involves ensuring daily monitoring of operations and people career growth and development through the various policies within the department and by advising the management team on best practice.
·         Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes
·         Diagnose business challenges and together with corporate HR office craft solutions
·         Translate business and HR strategy into a clear annual HR operational plan
·         Implement business sections (group) wide initiatives/strategy
·         Design and implement Human Resources Policies and Procedures (Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection)
·         Responsible for execution of all people processes in the employment and business cycle, in line with policy and legislation - recruitment, induction, L&D, EE planning, retention, career management, reward etc.
·         Support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy.
·         Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda
·         Facilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback
·         Provide expert advice and coaching to employees where appropriate
·         Manage and follow through on Employee Relations cases
·         Implement Performance Management philosophy and processes
·         Transactional HR excellence - effective back office liaison
·         HR Reporting (monthly, training, assessments, projects)



Qualifications & Experience:
·         A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university
·         Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
·         Sound Knowledge of Labour Laws of Kenya
·         At least 4 years’ experience in HR and Administration in a busy environment
·         IHRM membership will be an added advantage
·         HR Knowledge and experience
·         Organization Understanding
·         Knowledge / Experience in a HR environment at a senior level
·         Corporate HR Understanding
·         Knowledge of the labor laws and HR best practice.
·         Employee Relations
·         Organization development strategies
