HR and Administrative Assistant
MSF-SWISS is seeking candidates for the post of:
HR & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
To support its humanitarian operations in Somalia
Location: Nairobi with possible of travel to Somalia
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 9 months fixed term contract (extension subject to program needs and performance).
Scope of responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Officer, the person will be responsible for:
Administrative and legal framework
· Ensures a proper salary management with payroll soft ware (Homere).
· Keeps personal & administrative files up-to-date at all time.
· Ensures proper daily administrative follow-up of related to National and international Staff.
· Takes responsibility for all correspondance and filing of administrative documents.
Recruitment & Introduction of new staff
· Supports and provides assistance to a qualitative recruitment process.
· Applies MSFCH policies and management procedures and tools.
Human Resources Management (HRM)
· Supports the HR Officer & Coordinator in various administrative issues during recruitment & staff induction process.
· Supports the HR Officer & Coordinator in all administrative aspects related to staff training.
· Involved in and provide administrative support to all aspects of team building.

Recruitment criteria:Education:
· Certificate or diploma in business/Administration or HR Management or similar education.
Experience MSF and Other:
· Minimum 1 year experience as HR Assistant 1 and familiar with HR Management policies and tools.
· Experience in MSF in similar capacity will be an advantage.
· Readiness to travel, live and work under precarious conditions and in high-security environment.
Languages:
· Excellent command of English, knowledge of Somali is an asset.
Personal qualities:
· Organisation skills, Good communication skills
· Attentive to detail, ability to listen, and Diplomatic
· Rigour, Flexibility, Open-minded
· Ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural people
