Product Research and Development Officers


The Product Research and Development Officers will build products from existing ideas, and develop new insurance products based on the industry experience and feedback from customers and prospects. The PRDOs must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy with the ability to grasp and drive the overall company vision into reality. The PRDOs will be required to spend time in the market to understand the customer, their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct continuous research for new product opportunities.
Analyse and create projections for future market trends.
Driving product solutions through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Develop new products and revamp existing products
Analyse and recommend potential partner relationships for products.
Assist the Technical Committee to manage product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

 REQUIREMENTS

A Degree in a business or marketing field with relevant qualifications including marketing, insurance, customer service, communications and/or public relations.
3 years of marketing/product management experience.
Knowledgeable in cutting edge technology that will drive marketing and sales.
A natural flair for innovative ideas with the ability to translate ideas into products.
Highly creative with strong presentation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
A team player disposition.
Ability to deliver under pressure and manage many projects simultaneously.
Intensely customer focused with a results-orientation.
    10.  Readiness to work unsocial hours.
