We are seeking to recruit a Project Administrators whose primary focus will be to provide administrative support in the design, implementation and monitoring of project activities. S/he will assist the Site Administrator and the Project Director in preparing and monitoring annual and project budgets, tracking grants agreements, complying with spelled out agreement policies & procedures, providing monthly expense report and project financial monitoring tools. In addition s/he will assist in building administrative capacity of partner organization as well as manage the project internal control procedures.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support in the design, implementation and monitoring of project activities.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring annual and project budgets, tracking grants agreements, complying with spelt out agreement policies & procedures.
- Provide monthly expense reports and project financial monitoring tools.
- Assist in building administrative capacity of partner organizations as well as manage the project’s internal control procedures.
- Support the development of proposal budgets and budget narratives.
- Assist project teams to prepare for workshops, trainings, meetings and other project activities.
- Responsible for all aspects of project and office travel arrangements.
- Required Skills

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including report writing ability.
- Computer literacy; competence in Ms Office and familiarity with project management softwares.
- Well-organized and detail oriented with good follow-through skills and demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with program and technical staff.
- Effective negotiation skills and ability to recognize, address, and resolve problems independently.
- Ability to think strategically, plan ahead and to foresee consequences of actions taken.
- Flexible, proactive, adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under strict deadlines
- Required Experience

- Undergraduate qualification in Business Administration, Accounting or finance with CPA II or ACCA
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an administrative and financial management position.
- Experience working with the government or international donor contracting agencies, as well as experience in developing, monitoring, and reporting on complex budgets, experience with large, multi-site projects and multiple collaborating agencies.
