International Medical Corps (IMC) an international non-profit NGO seeks to recruit applicants for the following positions for continuing Centers for Disease Control (CDC) funded project in Nyanza, Kenya. The goal of the project is to prevent new HIV infections through implementation and scale up of combination of evidence informed cost effective prevention (Behavioral, Biomedical and Structural) interventions targeting Key Populations, general population and youths. This program will be implemented in collaboration and partnership with the Ministry of Health - Government of Kenya’s (GoK) provincial, district, and facility level staff and other CDC implementing partners larger Suba, Migori and Kisii County.

Roles and responsibilities
Provide counselling and psychosocial support to clients at the TEKELEZA drop in centres
Liaise with the Ministry of Health and other partners in provision of HIV care and treatment to clients at the drop in centres.
Coordinate and participate in evidence informed interventions targeting youth, Key Populations and the general population.
Participate in community mobilization and education regarding HIV/AIDS, prevention and therapy.
Minimum requirements
1. Registered Nurse with 4-5 years’ experience in busy HIV care and treatment settings.
2. Basic HIV counselling Training and experience.3. Current nursing council practicing licence.
4. Willingness to work in Suba /Migori/Kisii.
5. Experience working with Key Populations is an added advantage
