Duties - Previous experience required • The Registered Nurse performs nursing duties identified by the Country’s Board of Nursing. • The RN provides nursing care under the direct order of a physician. • The RN will use these standards in the care of the physically and or emotionally ill.
Essential Duties and Responsibility Levels: • Assists with the implementation and revision of the nursing care plan as appropriate for the patient's care. • Evaluates and regularly re-evaluates the nursing needs of the patient. • Provides nursing treatments and procedures. • Initiates preventive and rehabilitation nursing procedures as appropriate for the patient's care and safety. • Observes signs and symptoms and reports to the physician reactions to treatments including drugs and changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition. • Teaches, supervises and counsels the patient and family regarding the nursing care needs and related home care problems. • Documents significant information on the appropriate client record, nursing care plan or other documents. • Obtains and transports ordered lab specimens. • Submits accurate, completed documentation on time to the agency for record maintenance and accounting needs.
Required Qualifications: • RN license • Valid driver's license • 1 year experience
Preferred Qualifications: • Previous critical care experience
