Quality Specialist

BURN is currently seeking a mission driven candidate to serve as Quality Specialist for the Nairobi factory.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and daily management of:
o    Incoming QC procedures (IQC)
o    Lot traceability
o    In-Process QC procedures (IPQC)
o    Weekly and monthly QA metrics and corrective action reports
o    Final Inspection, serial number, packaging
  • Document Control
  • Factory Environmental Health and Safety Protocols
Desired Experience:
  • Quality Control position in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using inspection equipment and tools
  • Comfortable with Microsoft office
  • Experience writing reports
  • Detail-oriented
  • Works well in a team
  • Experience with Kenyan factories and manufacturing processes
  • Experience or knowledge with sheet metal fabrication and powder-coating a plus
  • Engineering degree a plus
Starting Range
70,000 KES / month
