Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications for the position of Coordinator, Stores and Inventory
Responsibilities
​The incumbent will:
  • Ensure that all stores are adhering to the required storage conditions as per the set standards
  • Ensure that all stores are maintaining proper records of inventory movement, random stock counts and expiry checks
  • Conduct random stock checks at all MMD storage locations
  • Open and close the main warehouse as per the operation hours, and ensure safe custody of the warehouse keys
  • Oversee the operations of the receiving and distribution teams, and ensure that the teams are following the set processes
  • Ensure that expired items are disposed as per policy
  • Ensure that surplus and obsolete assets are disposed of as per MMD’s responsibility specified in the policy
  • Continuously improve processes within the warehouse so as to ensure smooth and safe flow of inventory
Requirements
​Applicants should:
  • possess a Bachelors or higher diploma in inventory and logistics or a related field
  • have at least 3 years experience in a busy store/ warehouse and evidence of setting up inventory control systems
  • be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • have a high degree of integrity and honesty.
