Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications for the position of Documentation Clerk, Medical Records
Responsibilities
  • ​Attend to queries from doctors, patients and other concerned staff with regards to medical records.
  • Ensure patients’ records are arranged in terminal digit order in the bins at all times.
  • Print addressographs and bar-codes for all files before returning to the shelves.
  • Deliver and pick patients’ records to and from various users and report file status on a daily basis.
  • Dispatch files and repair and/or replace torn folders as required
  • Ensure correct data entry and record maintenance
  • Sort and shelve all returned patients’ records on the sorters in terminal digit order
Requirements
  • ​Certificate in Records Management from a recognized institution
  • One year relevant experience. 
  • Should be proficient in computer packages with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
