Sales Executives
The client is a Kenyan company
that has been in operation since 2002, steadily growing to be at the forefront
of supply of specialized building solutions. The company is aimed at partnering
with builders to actualize their design concepts through provision of
specialized building material solutions. Through the strength of their
products, the company continues to partner with builders and specifiers in the construction
industry. The client is looking to enhance its vision and growth prospects by
recruiting energized,
motivated go-getters to join its sales team. The Sales Executives will
be responsible for approaching potential clients while maintaining existing
clients for new business. They are intelligent, mature, self driven and have
the potential to record quality sales as well as retain and expand the client
book.
Roles and skill profile:
The ideal candidate will have good
communications and people management skills and as such will maintain and
develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and
emails for new business. S/he will as a result of business relationships
created, locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential
partners; discovering and exploring opportunities to deliver results. The
executive will initiate the sales process by qualifying potential clients and
scheduling appointments after which sales will be developed by making initial
presentations; explaining product and service enhancements and additions as
well as through the introduction of new products and services.
The ideal candidate will be excellent at closing sales
through making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with
quotations as per their request with the efficiency required by the client.
He/she will be involved in negotiating variations in price, delivery and
specifications with clients as well as all the terms of an agreement. Additionally,
the ideal candidate will gather market and customer information and providing
feedback on future buying trends. He/she will be involved in identifying new
markets and business opportunities wand
ride with them to ensure success. This information will be used in coming up
with sales strategies by evaluating current product results; monitoring
competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions. The individual
will also prepare and compile company brochures, technical materials for
upcoming events, etc. to work out the Monthly Sales and the marketing plan in
place.
The sales cycle will be adhered to and sales recorded as well as order information and copies sent
to the sales office. S/he will be a result oriented, motivated, resourceful
individual who is able to work independently to review his/her own sales
performance and aiming to meet or exceed monthly individual as well as group
sales targets.
Requirements:
The candidate will have a minimum
Diploma in Sales and Marketing or relevant certificates with 3-4 years of
relevant working experience in Sales and Marketing of Building and
Architectural hardware material.
